LocateLA
As the nation’s largest community owned utility, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is helping businesses by providing an innovative web-based tool, LocateLA, that will allow users to search for ideal properties within the City of Los Angeles.
Analytical Tools
LocateLA puts an impressive array of analytical tools in the hands of potential investors, so they can see how a specified location fits with their business needs. Visitors are able to visualize and analyze the site selection data they find, not just review static reports.
Community Data searches will provide local demographic data to assist companies with the information they need to start, grow or relocate their businesses. Property searches will provide information on commercial real estate that is available for rent, lease, or sale and vacant land zoned for commercial purposes.
LocateLA also features properties located in areas designated as economically distressed. In these areas, which are called Promise Zones and Opportunity Zones, federal resources are made available to boost economic activity and job growth, improve educational opportunities, reduce crime and leverage private investment to improve the quality of life.
Additionally, the website includes links to LADWP programs, the Help for Small Businesses resource site and the Los Angeles County COVID-19 Dashboard.
The LocateLA website is free and open to the public, mobile-friendly and available in Spanish.
ZoomBusiness
A newly added feature created as a result of the pandemic, ZoomBusiness, delivers an interactive, online mapping directory of open businesses. Stores, restaurants and services can add details such as changed hours, website addresses, delivery or curb-side pickup options, promotions and gift card stimulus programs. ZoomBusiness can be used to find out more about competitors, suppliers, and related organizations.
For questions pertaining to the properties, please contact the broker. Their contact information is listed on the Property Details Report. For general inquiries about the site or to report technical issues, please send an email to sbs@ladwp.com or call (800) 864-4409.
